Project Overview
Hardypond Construction partnered with Coastal Women’s Health on an expansion at their Scarborough clinic, marking our fourth project with the client. The project was planned in multiple phases to meet the clinic’s evolving space needs while maintaining functionality for staff and patients.
Project Phases / Scope of Work
Phase 1
The first phase focused on creating additional clinical space. This included more exam rooms, two surgery rooms with adjoining prep areas, a large nurses station, and multiple work areas for providers. Each space was designed to improve workflow and support the staff’s daily operations.
Phase 2
Phase two began once the new areas were ready for use. Work included renovating the breakroom and kitchen, cosmetic updates to lighting, doors, flooring, and paint in other areas, and modifications to a wing of exam rooms. This phase enhanced staff support areas and improved overall functionality.
Approach & Expertise
Throughout both phases, Hardypond applied its medical construction expertise to plan and execute each step with precision. Our team partnered closely with the client, ensuring thoughtful planning, attention to detail, and smooth coordination of the work. The project reflects our commitment to delivering spaces that support staff, patients, and clinic operations while meeting the client’s evolving needs.
