Ron brings decades of experience in construction to Hardypond. In his role as project manager, Ron is responsible for communicating with clients and subcontractors, committing to timelines, and then adapting and creating new plans if and when everything changes. If there is a problem on a job site, Ron will figure it out and create a solution. After working construction for 15 years in Santa Barbara, California, Ron relocated to Maine in the early 2000s. One of his first construction jobs in Maine was with Hardypond as a supervisor for four years. He then went on to run his own residential construction company in Southern Maine for 15 years before returning to the Hardypond family. Always looking to expand his knowledge in the field, Ron has completed two years of training with both a master plumber and a master electrician, and recently completed a continuing education course on energy auditing with the Builders Performance Institute (BPI). With his strong background in the construction business, Ron knows how things should be built and loves working with people to get projects completed on budget and on time. His goal is to find the ways to exceed people’s expectations.

An avid outdoorsman, you can find Ron surfing in the summer and winter, skiing, hiking, back-country camping, and walking his dogs on the beach. He and his wife of 16 years have created a blended family with their 5 daughters.
