As Director of Construction Services, Mark is responsible for supporting the daily needs of the Hardypond team. He loves problem solving and helping make things better. From creating improved workflow processes to onboarding new talent, he is invested in building a work culture that helps Hardypond operate efficiently and effectively. A people-person, Mark is driven by building valuable relationships and helping others succeed through defining growth strategies for project managers and superintendents.

Originally from New Paltz, New York, Mark eventually made his way back north to Raymond, Maine after calling Mesquite, Texas his home for 10 years. He has overseen residential and commercial construction management for other firms in the Portland area, but felt compelled to join the Hardypond team to be a part of building its future. Hardypond’s history as a family business operating in Maine for over 30 years and President Deidre Wadsworth’s vision for carrying the company forward made an impression on Mark.

Mark has been married to his high school sweetheart and together they have three sons. A self-proclaimed outdoor nut, Mark loves to enjoy everything Maine has to offer in the summer months with his family: camping, hiking trails, hunting, fly fishing, and gathering around a campfire. In the winter, you can find him catching up on all those interior home projects.
