Work Continues at the Maine Veteran’s Home

Happy Monday,

Back in the middle of April the Hardypond team started another project at the Maine Veteran’s Home in Scarborough. This time we are working on some offices, sitting areas, and finish upgrades to a few hallways. The site is still in full operation and we are working around the veterans and the staff to get the job done quickly and without causing too much annoyance. I visited the site last Wednesday and this is what I saw.

Just a short 3 days later I received this nice photo from Matt on site showing how much had progressed.

3 days of progress and there are finished walls.

We are looking forward to seeing the finished product as this project winds down in June.

Cheers,

Deirdre

More Work at Coastal Humane Society

We gathered most of our crew and spent last Saturday morning volunteering at Coastal Humane Society’s Pleasant Street offices. They needed extra shelving to store donated animal food bags and supplies in addition to the shelves that we build in December at the shelter. The building went really quick and we were  able to finish before noon! Thank you to Matt Dalton, Craig Johnson, Daphne Millay for pitching in and to Hancock Lumber for donating the plywood. Here are a few pictures of the finished product.
