Since 1990, Bob Gaudreau has watched his company grow from a startup to a major competitor in Maine’s construction industry. Bob’s love of renovation work was the fuel that sustained Hardypond Construction throughout its initial development. For years, Bob led teams working on countless renovation projects many contractors rejected due to the complexity and difficulty. These projects presented unique construction problems that had to be solved with out-of-the-box thinking. By never turning down a construction challenge over the course of decades, Bob acquired an immense knowledge of construction that benefits all of Harydpond’s clients.
In addition to being the founder, co-owner, and Vice President of Hardypond Construction, Bob can be seen drawing up estimates, working in the field as a Project Manager, and doing anything in between –– he’ll jump in wherever help is needed. As is the case with all of Hardypond’s Project Managers, if Bob is overseeing your construction you will be able to reach out to him directly for the entire life of your project.
Outside of Hardypond, Bob has served on numerous committees and boards, including the Portland Zoning Board. He and his wife live on the Maine coast and take frequent trips to their vacation home in the Virgin Islands. Bob is an avid gardener and enjoys being active outdoors with his dog Oliver.
